National Day of Prayer

Today is the 59th annual National Day of Prayer which is an event that was started by Congress and signed into law by Harry S. Truman in 1952. Its privately funded Task Force encourages Americans to unite to pray for our nation and its leaders in government, military, media, business, education, church and family.
